Objectives/Topics:

Expository and Procedural Text; Author's Purpose and Craft; Grammar...Subordinating Conjunctions, Conjunctive Adverbs, Proper Punctuation, and Complete Sentences!

 

All students are expected to be reading their chapter book and responding to this literature in their Reading Response Journals in class as well as outside of their Language Arts class!  

*Students have the Language Arts Syllabus and a Year at a Glance Chart in their binders!  Good resources to keep up with what's going on in Language Arts!

Homework:

Read as much as possible! :) And, be prepared to write in your Reading Response Journal so you will be ready to share with me during our Reading Conference time!

Students also need to work on IStation.  They have the information in the Language Arts section in their Binders.
